Mozart was very close to the Weber sisters. He wrote the role of the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute for the eldest sister, Josepha. The arias he composed for Aloysia, with whom he had fallen in love, are among the most moving in his catalogue, and, it was yet another sister, Constance, who became his wife.
