The museum’s permanent collection presents 1000 exhibits (instruments, paintings, sculptures...) in a context illustrating their social and aesthetic context. With a wide variety of activities, it also actively contributes to the everyday goings-on at the Philharmonie.

Jamaica is a tropical iceberg of which Bob Marley’s reggae is only the tip, sitting above an extraordinary originality that touches much more than music. This exhibition explores the multiple facets of its history.

Visiting the Museum

A trip to the museum is a musical experience! Thanks to free audio guides, visitors can actually hear the instruments they are seeing and discovering. Plus, every day at the Museum, a musician performs live and interacts with visitors. 

2017-2018 Season

The 2017/2018 Season at the Philharmonie de Paris will bring together great orchestras and international soloists, projects which will shed new light on music, and there will be jazz music, pop music and world music as well as three temporary exhibitions. Catch up with highlights here.
