Daniil Trifonov, the young Russian pianist who won the attention of Martha Argerich, will be taking on the formidable challenges of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No.3 composed in 1909. Brahms’s Symphony No.2 will then follow, relieving some of the intensity.
