The Soloists of the Ensemble intercontemporain offer an insight into the liveliness of musical creation via the works of three generations of composers. Tristan Murail, the eldest, is one of the founders of ‘spectral music’. His Vues aériennes presents the same object (a horn sound) in different lights: in the morning, in the rain, at midday and in the evening.
