Children and families
As soon as they enter the exhibition, children are cast into the wondrous world of musicals. Thanks to costumes provided at the entrance, they can take on the role of their favorite actors. A whole room is also entirely devoted to them, offering video projections and a quiz. Visitors are also given the chance to learn the first steps of tap dance, guided by a professional tap dancer or by a tutorial.
costumes provided to sing, dance, dream!
Children are invited to visit the exhibition wearing costumes chosen at the entrance. Sides vary from 4 to 12 years old. One might opt for the famous “sun-colored dress” of Peau d’Ane, or rather dress himself or herself with Fred Astaire’s iconic tailcoat.
In the children cinema, whose walls are illustrated by Disney’s Aristocats, legendary extracts from film musicals are projected. This selection is adapted for the youngest. A quiz is proposed to test the family’s knowledge on musicals, and will also make you discover plenty of anecdotes. A recreational space is also made available, where anyone is free to sing and dance!
World-renowned tapdancer, coach and choreographer for the film The Artist, Fabien Ruiz introduces visitors to the utmost discipline of Musicals.
