Festivals at the Philharmonie

Each season, the Philharmonie de Paris puts on festivals bringing together the best and brightest in a musical genre, from the world of contemporary and improvised music to the classical repertory.

All 2019-20 concerts

  • You receive a 15% discount when you bring a group of 10 people or more to the same concert.

Discounts do not apply to Category 5 and 6 seats in the Grande salle Pierre Boulez (Symphonic Hall) or Category 2 seats in the Salle des Concerts (Concert Hall). Discounts are not cumulative. Discounts do not apply to full-price-only concerts and shows. A limited number of discounted seats are available; once this limit has been reached, discounts no longer apply.

Payment no later than 6 weeks before the event; in the case of high-demand or sold-out events, the Philharmonie de Paris will require immediate payment and in this case, reservations will not be guaranteed.

 

Visits of Musée de la musique and temporary exhibitions

Permanent collection

The permanent collection presents nearly 1000 works (instruments, paintings, sculptures and furniture) as well as the different musical periods from the seventeenth century to today. It is adapted to visitors of all ages—children and adults—whether serious musicians or simply curious.

Self-guided visits:

Visit the permanent collection at your own pace with an audio guide. Every day, a musician appears at the Museum to perform live and talk about their instrument and repertoire.

Temporary exhibitions

Every season, the Musée de la musique puts on three temporary exhibitions that present, in an original way and from a new angle, a great figure of pop or art music, or one of the world’s key musical cultures.

Guided tours of the Philharmonie
Accompanied by a guide, the group explores the buildings designed by architects Jean Nouvel and Christian de Portzamparc. The guide explains the history of the project, the phases of construction and the mission of this major new site.

Workshops (for french-speaking travellers)

For individuals, it is possible to join a one-off session, mostly on weeknights or during the day on weekends. The workshops at the Philharmonie are designed as rich initiations to classical and traditional music from all corners of the world, aiming to be fun and original ways of discovering instrument playing and the practice of music.
