In 2014, Gabriel Kahane created an original tribute to Los Angeles entitled The Ambassador, after the famous hotel and night club inaugurated in 1921 and demolished in 2005. With his talent as a melodist, the singer evokes key elements in the history of the city, from the race riots to modernist architecture and movies such as Blade Runner.
