This evening inaugurates a series of six concerts programmed by Renaud Capuçon, to be presented across three seasons, some at the Théâtre de l’Athénée and some at the Philharmonie de Paris. The concert programmes explore the different facets of violinist Adolf Busch (1891-1952), a friend and mentor of Rudolf Serkin, first violin of the Busch Quartet, and Yehudi Menuhin's instructor.
