With their founder, Christophe Rousset, Les Talens Lyriques perform a concert version of Armide, the final tragic opera born of the collaboration between Lully and his librettist, Philippe Quinault. Its subject – the sorceress Armide’s impossible love for the knight Renaud – is borrowed from Jerusalem Delivered by the Italian poet Torquato Tasso.
