George Gershwin greatly admired his contemporary Mauric Ravel, a feeling which became reciprocal after the French composer attended a performance by George Gershwin in the United States. American conductor Leonard Slatkin and his Orchestre National de Lyon, with Nicholas Angelich on piano, will be presenting an evening of homage to this friendship.
