This is the second of two evenings entirely devoted to Tchaikovsky, by two specialists of the Russian composer, Mikhail Pletnev, founder of the Russian National Orchestra which he will be conducting for these concerts, and pianist Nikolai Lugansky — bringing you the unfairly overlooked Piano Conceto No.2 and the poignant “Pathétique” Symphony.
