To prepare your visit and facilitate checks related to « Vigipirate » (France's national security alert system) reinforced at the Philharmonie de Paris, please arrive early.

Dvorák composed his Stabat Mater in 1877, after the deaths of three of his children. This musical evocation of a mother's suffering before her sacrificed son oscillates between almost unbearable sorrow and calm or serenity – even hope, faith and light.
