Mozart's Mass in C minor is one of his most accomplished sacred works. It is heavily influenced by Bach and Handel, whom Mozart was studying at the time of its composition, particularly in the large choruses. This Great Mass will be preceded by Brahms' Tragic Overture, echoing the Mozart/Brahms evening of 2024, performed by Jérémie Rhorer and his Cercle de l'Harmonie, the Chœur de l'Orchestre de Paris and a superb cast of soloists.
