1/ Alfa Mist

Like many of the beatmakers of his generation, Alfa Mist discovered jazz by way of hip-hop. A fan of Madlib and J Dilla, the young Londoner first produced grime before rising to become a sort of British Robert Glasper.

2/ Jordan Rakei

A new classic signature on the English label Ninja Tune, this young New Zealander now lives in London, where he produces a hybrid soul that is just as much the child of jazz and reggae as electronica. A new-generation crooner of a multitudinous talents.
