A concert in two acts featuring the cream of the new New York jazz scene, with vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant in the exceptional company of pianist Dan Tepfer, forming a high-flying duo exploring the confines of vocal jazz. The evening opens with the repertoire of trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire, an artist of unfettered creativity and emphatic political conscience.
