Singer Selah Sue is back to electrify the Grande Halle with a new project where soul is groovier than ever.
For the last fifteen years since her first album driven by a hat trick of hits – “Raggamuffin”, “Crazy Vibes”, and “This World” – which afforded her a success that stands today, Selah Sue has tirelessly expanded her musical palette with touches of pop, reggae, and electronic. In 2022, the Belgian singer’s third album flew the flag of the most vibrant soul infused with funk and hip-hop. Her stellar voice has now found a new home in the pieces composed with father-son duo Stéphane and Elvin Galland – drummer and pianist, respectively – for an explosive mix of organic groove and modern jazz over an oh-so-bold score. With this fully fledged group, Selah Sue and The Gallands are rolling out their energetic alchemy on stage as a prelude to the album Movin’, available from 20 March 2026.
Opening act: I Am Roze
With her sumptuous voice striking a perfect balance between power and subtlety, recent revelation I Am Roze offers stripped-back, introspective soul.
A revelation in soul ready to win hearts far and wide, I Am Roze is one of those talents that simply blossoms in the face of adversity. The Louisiana-born artist started sharing her stuff on Instagram while living through the consequences of Hurricane Laura, which left Roze unhoused when it hit in 2020. Yet despite this hardship, two of her tracks landed on the second album of English DJ Fred Again, where they had millions of plays. After this twist of fate, I Am Roze’s voice, charisma, and sensitive nature took over: first on stage, where her performances left her audiences breathless, and then on records, with two EPs – I’m Not Emotional (2024) and Social Commentary (2025) – which unveiled her personal writing, powerfully put to music with utmost simplicity, breaking down the barriers between soul and pop. The touch of gospel in her recent singles emphasises the strength of her artistic expression rooted in self-actualisation.
