Itzhak Perlman is making a much awaited come back to Paris, in a duo program for violin and piano accompanied by his music partner pianist Rohan de Silva

Itzhak Perlman, the giant violinist who turned seventy last year, is making a grandiose return to Paris. Accompanied by his music partner Rohan de Silva, the same who made his debut at Carnegie Hall in New York in 1963 continues to fascinate audiences with his supreme technique, his clear conception of music, his pure and intense tone. A living legend who has carved his place in the history of the violin, at the very top, in line with illustrious Jasha Heifetz and Isaac Stern. The Israeli-American musician plays a violin which once belonged to Yehudi Menuhin – whose centenary takes place on April 22 – the 1774 Stradivarius « Soil », acquired in 1986
