In 1917 Switzerland, conductor Ernest Ansermet introduced poet Charles Ferdinand Ramuz and Igor Stravinsky. This encounter would ultimately lead to one of the most important works of the twentieth century: l’Histoire du Soldat (The Soldier’s Tale).
