Baroque music and hip hop come together in this opera in three acts. The narrative is replete with references to the great tragedies, from Romeo and Juliet to Oedipus. Against a backdrop of rivalries, love, and battles, the characters live out the gruesome fate of a royal family defeated by destructive passions and forbidden loves.
