Maud Ayats

Violin

Maud Ayats enrolled at the Paris Conservatoire in 1994, studying under Olivier Charlier. In 1997, she was unanimously awarded the First Prize in violin; the following year, she received the First Prize in chamber music and the Higher Education Diploma with distinction.

She then devoted herself to chamber music, particularly the string quartet. She joined the Ysaÿe Quartet’s class at the Paris Regional Conservatoire, then at ProQuartett, where she took part in numerous masterclasses (Berg Quartet, Hagen Quartet, Walter Levin). In 2000, she also benefited from tuition with the Amadeus Quartet at the London Academy. Since then, Maud Ayats has performed regularly at chamber music festivals, in various ensembles.

She has been a member of the Orchestre de Paris since 2003.
