Béatrice Nachin

Viola

Béatrice Nachin began playing the viola at the age of six at the Nîmes Conservatoire. She obtained a DEM in 2004 and went on to further her studies at the CRR in Rueil-Malmaison under Françoise Gnéri, where she was unanimously awarded a prize for excellence.

She enrolled at the CNSMDP in 2008 and joined the class of Bruno Pasquier, then that of David Gaillard and Nicolas Bône. Passionate about chamber music, she also undertook the Advanced String Quartet Course with Marc Coppey and Bertrand Chamayou. Already highly motivated by orchestral work during her studies at the CNSM, she took part in the Académie de l’Orchestre de Paris for the 2009/2010 season.

Numerous masterclasses have enabled her to benefit from the guidance of renowned violists such as Tabea Zimmermann, Antoine Tamestit, Jean Sulem, Sabine Toutain, Gérard Caussé and Hatto Beyerle...
Before joining the Orchestre de Paris in August 2013, she performed regularly with the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestre National de France, notably under the baton of Myung-Whun Chung, Kurt Mazur, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Mikko Frank and Daniele Gatti... She has also had the opportunity to join the ensemble Les Dissonnances with David Grimal, as well as the Mahler Chamber Orchestra conducted by Daniel Harding.
