Hervé Blandinieres

Hervé Blandinières began studying the viola at the Amiens Conservatoire, where he obtained his DEM in 2013.
He then spent two years playing with the Orchestre Français des Jeunes under the baton of Dennis Russell Davies. After furthering his studies with Pierre-Henri Xuereb in Gennevilliers and Michel Michalakakos in Boulogne-Billancourt, he enrolled at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris in 2016, joining Jean Sulem’s class. Winner of second prize at the Épernay Competition in 2018, Hervé was accepted into the Paris Opera Academy in 2019 and joined the Orchestre de Paris a few months later.
Passionate about chamber music, he founded the Bellefeuille Quartet in 2015, which studied under Luc-Marie Aguera.
