Flore-Anne Brosseau
VIOLA
Flore-Anne Brosseau joined the Paris Opera Orchestra immediately after completing her studies, where she honed her craft whilst working alongside artists from all disciplines and some of the greatest opera singers. She joined the Orchestre de Paris in 2012: with this ensemble, she has collaborated with conductors such as Pierre Boulez, Bernard Haitink, Myung-Whun Chung, Daniel Harding… and performed in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls, including the Berlin Philharmonie, the Musikverein in Vienna, the NHK Hall in Tokyo, the Shanghai Philharmonic Hall, the Seoul Concert Hall and La Scala in Milan…
Since 2011, her chamber music partners have included Christophe Giovaninetti, Gérard Caussé, Nicolas Chumachenko, Alain Meunier, Nicolas Dautricourt, Emmanuelle Bertrand and Amaury Coeytaux. She joined the Ysaÿe Quartet’s class in 2010 before founding the Capriccio Quartet in 2012.
Flore-Anne Brosseau began playing the violin at the age of five in Angers before continuing her studies in Paris with Suzanne Gessner and in Rotterdam with Jean-Jacques Kantorow. Intrigued by other sounds, she developed an interest in the viola and enrolled at the Paris Conservatoire (CNSM) in Gérard Caussé’s class in 2005, where she was unanimously awarded her DFS with distinction. In 2008, she was a finalist in the International Competition at the Festival Musical d’Automne for young performers.
