David Braccini

violin

After studying music at the Bastia Conservatoire, David Braccini enrolled at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris-CNR, where he was unanimously awarded the gold medal in Huguette Déat’s violin class.

Soon, his passion for chamber music led him to form his own ensemble, and he founded the Hölderlin Quartet, whilst studying under the Isaye Quartet.
He furthered his studies with Margarita Karafilova at the Lausanne Conservatoire and won a First Prize for virtuosity.

He was a member of the European Union of Chamber Orchestras from 1996 to 2000, which gave him the opportunity to perform all over the world (Germany, Brazil, Italy, the United Kingdom, the Middle East and Asia).
He performs with the leading symphony orchestras in Paris and, exploring a variety of musical styles, collaborates with ensembles such as Harmonia Nova and Le Banquet, where he is concertmaster, as well as with the Pélléas Chamber Orchestra and the 2E2M ensemble. David Braccini joined the Orchestre de Paris in April 2008.
