Emmanuel Hollebeke

PERCUSSION

Born on 29 January 1990, Emmanuel Hollebeke began learning the piano at the age of five with Nicole Simon Laroche, before turning to percussion two years later, which he studied with François Vilacèque at the CRD (Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental) in Bourg-La-Reine/Sceaux (92).

In 2008, he furthered his studies with Francis Brana at the CRD in Créteil (94) and was unanimously admitted to the CNSMDP (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris), where he studied under Michel Cerutti. In 2013, he was awarded a Master’s degree in Percussion with first-class honours.

Passionate about the symphonic orchestral repertoire, he has performed with ensembles such as the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, the Orchestre National de France and the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Daniele Gatti, Sir Colin Davis and Esa-Pekka Salonen.

He joined the Orchestre de Paris in September 2012.
